ABOUT

Chris Brunell is a product designer focused on systems that translate complex, real-time data into clear, actionable context for it’s users.

Over the past decade, he’s designed products and experiences for the NHL, NBA, and FanDuel, partnering with Apple and live sports production teams to push the boundaries of real-time data across broadcast, coaching, and fan-facing environments.

His experience spans agency, enterprise, and big tech—including Amazon Prime Video—providing a broad perspective on how complex systems are designed, built, and adopted at scale.

His work for the NHL Coaching Insights iPad App was recognized by Tim Cook as a “game-changer,” earning honors from Fast Company, Clio Sports, and the SAP Innovation Awards.

Earlier in his career, Chris designed enterprise analytics platforms used by analysts and business teams, shaping his focus on structuring complex data into usable systems—a foundation that continues to inform his work today.

Based in the DC area, Chris is a graduate of the Corcoran College of Art + Design. Outside of work, he follows Notre Dame football and spends time exploring AI filmmaking, music production, and traveling with his family.
